Welcome
Ok, so I have been playing the bass since I was about 18yrs old playing mainly rock and funk styles with uk covers bands. For me it’s a great way to have fun and a rather cool hobby - I’ll never be a Victor Wooten!
Here’s a list of some of the bands i’ve played with
The CoverGirl Band
(Bass and backing vocals). This is my current band. We play popular covers aimed at the Wedding, Ball and Corporate market.
Seboria
(Bass)
I had a great time here. Tracy and Rob went their own way leaving myself, Dino and Andrew to change the musical direction and start up CoverGirl.
You can catch Rob Porch (Lead guitar) in Ultimate Trigger Mechanism. Beware this is heavy stuff!
Sawdust King
(Bass)
We still get together on occasions, the last time was early in 2008 for a benefit gig. Im sure everyone would agree we have a great time playing the old and some new rock classics. No one can forget Rich’s take on Blur’s Parklife!
The band with no name
(Bass)
This was my gigging band for ages. We played mostly Glam Rock and Blues Brothers/soul stuff back when it was ok to play Gary Glitter stuff!
You can catch Nigel (Keyboards) here in Kick the cat
The Dragon Fly’s
(Bass)
This was basically an excuse for lots (and I mean lots) of guitarists to get together and Jam. Problem was that people then started to get us gigs..so we had to polish some songs and it turned into a band. Good ole rock ‘n roll!
Early December
(Bass)
This was my first band which I started with my brother Ian (Guitar). We had a great time practicing in our parents garages with Marcus (Drums) and Maria (Vocals). Where are they now?
